I am excited to be a School Counselor at Lexington Middle School! I have previous work experience as a teacher and in various human resources roles for a hospital system and maritime company. This is my first year working as a School Counselor and in Lee County schools and I am excited about the opportunity to learn and grow with you!

The learner profile trait that I enjoy the most is open-minded. As a School Counselor, it is my job to be open-minded to students’ unique experiences and backgrounds. Working with students with an open-minded outlook will help them discover their strengths and develop the skills they need to become lifelong learners.

Hello Lynx!!

I am very excited to be here at Lexington Middle as a part-time Counselor! I am here on Tuesdays and Thursdays and look forward to meeting many of you as the year goes on.

My Learner Profile Trait is Balanced and my goal is to help as many students balance their academic life here at school with their home life outside of school. So, in other words, I hope to help you balance your academics and social life! I consider myself a good listener and will look forward to hearing from you if/when you may need me during this school year!.

I was a high school Counselor in Illinois for many years and was also a full time Counselor here at Lexington from 2019-2022. I am so happy to be back!!

I am so proud to be a school counselor here at Lexington Middle!  Prior to becoming a school counselor, I was an elementary teacher right here in Lee County. I am passionate about education and student success! As a school counselor, my mission is to remove barriers to learning. All students are unique and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I look forward to supporting our students so that they can learn and grow academically and socially. The learner profile trait that I encompass the most is open-minded. Each day, I embrace different points of view by listening and considering the perspectives of others to broaden my mind and challenge my thinking.
