Welcome to Lexington Middle School! Your elective selections for the upcoming school year are separated into three different IB subject areas: Design, Visual and Performing Arts, and Language Acquisition. When choosing electives, you will choose your top two choices from Design and also your top two choices from Visual and Performing Arts. All students will get a PE class as part of both a district and IB requirement.
Design classes include a more hands-on/problem solving approach, while the arts are more performance based. Each elective option includes a description to help you make your selections.
If you are coming from another middle school or an elementary school with an arts program, please add in the comments section what advanced program you would like to be a part of and what instruction you've had to date in that program (for example, orchestra in 5th grade; art lessons outside of school, etc.)
Please complete this form no later than Sunday, June 2nd. If you complete the sheet more than once, we will take the most recent submission.
Note that we always try to give students their elective choices, but core academic classes drive the schedule, so this is not always possible.
