I have loved working at Lexington Middle School for the past three years as a teacher. This year will be my second year teaching the Life Skills class, which was a major goal of mine. I have learned and grown so much here at Lexington during my beginning years as an educator. By working with other teachers as a support facilitator for two years, I have seen how unique they all are and that each of them has a special way of reaching students. The teachers at Lexington are one of its’ most valuable assets. I look forward to teaching here for the foreseeable future. This year I am most excited to see many of my students again! I am naturally a caring and nurturing person, and love to help and service students with exceptionalities.

Hello Lynx!
I am new to Lexington Middle and I’m looking forward to meeting all of my new students.  The faculty and staff here have been wonderful and I can’t wait to start the new year. 

The Learner Profile I most identify myself with is being Open-minded. Everyone is different and I enjoy learning about others and accepting them for who they are.

What I enjoy most about  teaching at Lexington is the positive environment our students experience on a daily basis. I’m excited to get to know my students this new school year!

I want to help students enjoy learning so they will continue to learn throughout their lives.  I have a passion for learning and want my students to also.  My passion is driven by curiosity which sparks me to inquire and ask questions . Therefore I will do my best  to inspire my students to love learning by modeling how learning is fun and can lead to discovery.
