Lexington is so wonderful because we are an IB school. Working with caring adults and teaching students to make a positive impact in the world is one of my favorite things about our school!

I am an inquirer through and through! I always ask questions and want to learn more about the world around me, especially animals!

Hello and welcome to a new school year!

The care that is demonstrated in the staff and administration at LXMS is evident in all aspects of the school environment. We are in it together and the students are the number 1 priority.

I fully embody the profile traits of Inquirer and Thinker. I want my students to ask questions about what they are reading, not to assume the obvious but dig deeper and be surprised!

Hello Lynx!

Welcome to the new school year! I am new to the school, but NOT new to teaching. I have been teaching for 20 years. The last three years I worked with high school students. Before that, I was working with middle schoolers. I am excited to have you in my class. I can’t wait to meet the students and (the rest of) staff at Lexington. I am excited to make this year a productive and promising school year.

The IB Learner Profile I try to most embody is Open-Minded.  I feel I can appreciate others' points of view when I understand other cultures, perspectives, values, traditions, and personal histories. Learning and growing from these has been uplifting and ongoing for me as a teach new students each year.

Although only in this school for a short period of time,  the environment is a very welcoming one which provides a great place to learn and grow not only in our education, but as respectful and resourceful citizens.

The IB Profile Trait that I live by is Caring both for others and self. Taking care of ourselves only helps us to be better and more kind to others. In and out of school, I am passionate about being a life-long learner as well as being a caring member in my community.
