Hi Lynx!

My passion is to provide a safe environment where minds can grow, explore, and create each day. As students enter the school each morning, you will often hear me say, “Welcome to the greatest place on earth,… let the brain training begin,… be kind!”  I love that we are a school filled with people who work hard to do and to be their very best.  We enjoy having fun and making memories with one another.  I am excited to meet all of our new students and look forward to seeing the sparkle of curiosity in their eyes. When it comes to our IB Learner profile traits, I would consider myself a principled, principal.  My goal each day is to ensure that all are treated fairly and justly, as I live and work with integrity.

Hi Lynx,

I am a Fort Myers native, graduating from North Fort Myers High School and then attending the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University. This is my 26th year in Lee County schools and I have held positions as a teacher, academic coach, curriculum writer, mathematics supervisor, and assistant principal. This is my 7th year as an assistant principal, and I am excited to start a new journey at Lexington Middle this year.

I am passionate about education and the arts and love that I am able to work at a school where I am surrounded by both on a daily basis. It is my goal that all students realize their potential academically, socially, and in the arts and that they are prepared for high school and beyond after their time with us.

Hey Lynx,

I am delighted to be one of the assistant principals at Lexington Middle. I have spent the majority of my educational career in middle schools as a social studies teacher and an International Baccalaureate coordinator. I am passionate about service both in terms of servant leadership and student action. Our faculty, staff, and students are incredible people who have so much to offer the world around us. I am very fortunate to be able to work, learn, and grow with such an extraordinary community. I look forward to supporting our students and staff as we all strive to be the best version of ourselves.

My favorite Learner Profile Trait is Balanced. Staying balanced is so important and also the trait I struggle with the most. Make sure you are working on staying balanced by spending quality time with your family and friends, going outside, as well as pursuing academics and service.
