Art Club - Ms. Rice
We do all kinds of fun art things! 😊 Art students can also finish working on their in-class projects if they are behind. Meets every Thursday, 4:15-5:15 in the Art Room (2-112)


Book Battle - Ms. Camerlingo & Ms. Skrivan
Book Battle is a club where students read the Sunshine State Books and compete against other Lee County middle schools in a jeopardy style competition. Will begin in the middle of October (times and location TBD) 

Disk Golf Club - Mr. Hagen
Disc golf is one of the fastest growing recreational sports in the world! Join the Lynx Disc Golf Club and give it a try! Meets Mondays, 4:15-5:15 in the Gym

Fellowship of Christian Athletes & Students - Mr. Millage
Snacks, Activity, Devotional & Fun with your friends! Meets every other Friday, 8:30-9:15 in the Gym
  
Fishing Club - Mr. Dodge & Mrs. Dunn
The Fishing Club is open to anglers at all skill levels. We meet to discuss fishing tips and tricks as well as organize events to support conservation groups in our area to protect our Florida waters. We also will have a year-long fishing tournament available to members, winners earn a variety of prizes. Starting second quarter, date TDB, 4:15-5:15 room 1-120

Future City Club - Mr. Armsworth
Future City starts with a question—how can we make the world a better place? To answer it, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students imagine, research, design, and build cities of the future that showcase their solution to a citywide sustainability issue. Past topics include stormwater management, urban agriculture, public spaces, and green energy. Join the Lynx Future City Competition Club and help design cities of the future! Meets Fridays, 8:50-9:15 room 1-328

Harry Potter Club - Mrs. Millage
Harry Potter Fans gather to make crafts, play quidditch, watch the Harry Potter Movies, discuss books, Hogwarts Houses & Pottermore, and have fun snacks! Meets every Monday, 8:30-9:15 Virtual/Zoom (email Mrs. Millage for details)

Intramurals - Mr. Millage
Various team-based and individual sports. Meets Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday each week, 4:15-5:15 

Jr. Thespians - Ms. DeSanctis
LXMS Jr. Thespians club welcomes all lovers of the theatre arts to participate in improvisation games and hone their performance and technical theatre skills. Official induction into the Jr. Thespian Honor Society, which allows students the ability to compete in District and State competitions, must be earned through participation in school and/or community theatrical productions or classes. Meets every other Wednesday beginning Oct 7, 4:15-5:15 in the Drama Room

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) - Mrs. Tomlinson
The National Junior Honor Society elevates a school's commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Meets Thursdays, 8:50-9:15 in the Media Center

Photography Club - Ms. Yanik
Students will learn the fundamentals of photography as well as tips and tricks for taking advanced photos. Meets Last Monday of the Month, 8:50-9:15 - Zoom

STEAM Club - Mrs. Flint
Students will explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to create novel solutions to existing and theoretical problems. Meets Thursday, 4:15-5:15 room 1-221 

Student Government - Mrs. Volpe
Elected officers and student representatives (anyone can join) SGA serves as a liaison between the student body and the school administration, providing a means for student statement in school affairs and also serves as leaders for the student body, sponsoring and organizing social activities and events. First and Third Thursday of each month, 8:50-9:15 room 1-215
 
Technology Student Association (TSA) Mrs. Perretta
The Technology Student Association enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through extracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs. Meets Wednesday, 4:15-5:15 room 1-151
